For my university module, 3D Modelling for Games, i was tasked with creating an environment of my design, as long as it was within the restricted size limit of 10 x 10 meters.
I designed a safe room - a room in which the player can come back to, to save and even to craft items to aid gameplay. I wanted this room to be messy, as if it is currently being lived in. I wanted the character who inhabits this room to seem eccentric and creative.
I created all textures myself using my Wacom Cintiq 13" graphic tablet, I was determined to not use a single royalty free texture.
